I am a postdoctoral researcher (Juan de la Cierva Fellow) at the Institute of Economics, Geography and Demography of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). Before joining CSIC, I held an FPU Fellowship at Complutense University of Madrid, where I completed my PhD in Sociology (cum laude). I have also been a visiting researcher at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and the LIVES Centre, University of Lausanne.
My research examines how social inequalities influence health and social integration. I am particularly interested in the experiences of minoritised groups and in the role that social relationships and institutional contexts play in shaping their wellbeing and participation in society.
My work has been published in journals such as Comparative Migration Studies, Population and Environment, and Scientific Data. I am also strongly committed to knowledge transfer and public engagement, serving as Secretary of the Madrid Sociological Association and regularly collaborating with media outlets such as elDiario.es and third-sector organisations such as Fundación ONCE.
